Birth: Sep. 6, 1922 East Butler Butler County Pennsylvania, USA Death: Oct. 19, 2003 Butler Butler County Pennsylvania, USA Genevieve "Dee" Schnur, 81, of Butler died Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 6, 1922, in East Butler, she was the daughter of Anthony and Stella (Geibel) Reott. Mrs. Schnur had worked as a clerk for the former Gaylord's Department Store in Butler. Prior to that she worked as a cook at the YWCA in Butler. She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. Surviving are two sons; two brothers; two sisters; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence B. Schnur, who died May 21, 1976; a son; a brother, and two sisters. SCHNUR - Friends of Genevieve "Dee" Schnur, who died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Herman. St. Paul's Guild and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday at the church to recite the rosary.
