Birth: Nov. 30, 1902 Bismarck Burleigh County North Dakota, USA Death: May 11, 1997 Bismarck Burleigh County North Dakota, USA GLEN ULLIN -- Angelina Meuchel, 94, Glen Ullin, died May 11, 1997, in Bismarck. Services will be at 10 a.m. MDT Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glen Ullin, with burial in the church cemetery. Angelina was born Nov. 30, 1902, in Bismarck, to Philip and Anna Kary. She was raised and educated in the Elgin-New Leipzig area. She worked at home until her marriage to Lucas Meuchel on Nov. 20, 1919, at Bismarck. They farmed, and she raised her family. After her husband's death on Dec. 19, 1951, she moved into Glen Ullin. In the fall of 1957 she moved to Salem, Ore., where she worked in a nursing home. She returned to Bismarck in the fall of 1994. She entered Marian Manor Nursing Home in Glen Ullin in November 1995. Angelina loved to crochet and make afghans by the hundreds for her family and friends. She was a member of Christian Mothers. She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Philip and Rose, Dickinson, Anton and Eleanor, Missoula, Mont., Ed and Betty, and Raynold and Karen, all of Salem, Ore.; eight daughters and five sons-in-law, Barbara Schaff, Eleanor and Alvin Wagner, and Germaine and Kenneth Sibla, all of Glen Ullin, Florence and Ralph Veitenheimer, Vancouver, Wash., Loreine Geck, Mandan, Caroline and Leonard Opp, Bismarck, Regina Hawes, Salem, and Angie and Sherm Reed, Aurora, Ore.; 53 grandchildren; 95 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister and brother-in-law, Ethel and John Knoll, Duluth, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers; three sisters; two daughters, Elizabeth and Agnes; and one son, Steve.
