  [S927] Obituary. Mr. William Edward "Bill" McMillan, age 78, of Ozark, died Monday afternoon, September 22, 2008, in Dale Medical Center. Funeral services will be graveside at 11:00 A. M. (E.S.T.)Monday, September 29, 2008, in Fort Bragg Post Cemetery at Fort Bragg, North Carolina with full Military Honors. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mr. McMillan was born April 10, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Florence Caroling Haeg McMillan and Lyle Guy McMillan. He served in the United States Army, retiring at Fort Rucker in 1967. Following his retirement, he and his family made their home in Wicksburg. Mr. McMillan worked with the United States Park Service at Yellowstone National Park for thirty-three years and then moved to Ozark where he lived at Ozark Travel Park. In addition to his parents, Mr. McMillan was preceded in death by his wife, Cary Mae Griffith McMillan in 1992. Survivors include his son, Kurtis E. McMillan of Charlotte, North Carolina; one granddaughter, Lora-Ann McMillan of Kissimmee, Florida; two sisters, Carol Weaver of Brush Prairie, Washington, and Jo Ann McMillan of Walnut Creek, California; a special cousin, Rose Harris of Hope Mills, North Carolina; a special niece, Jada Bengston of Vancouver, Washington.
