(Orth) Groeninger, 75, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011. She was born on September 7, 1935 in Lincoln Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles F. Groeninger; sister, Eleanor Orth Holmerud; and brother-in-law, Michael Loewen. Carolyn is survived by her sons, Russell and wife Janie Groeninger, Paul and wife Angel Groeninger all of Evansville; brother, William Orth, Jr. and wife Josephine of Albuquerque, NM; grandsons, Andrew and wife Kendra, Joshua, Jeffrey, and Nathaniel Groeninger; great-grandson, Austin; sister-in-law, Katherine Loewen; and nieces & nephews. Services will be held at 7:00 PM, Monday, April 25, 2011 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor John Trnka. Friends may visit on Monday from 4:00 until service time.
