Sandy was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Albany. She was a golf fanatic and loved to play all types of games with her friends and family. In her early years, she enjoyed country western dancing. Sandy was born on August 19, 1950 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her father, Irvin Spencer. She is survived by her husband, Mike Kochert; daughter, Olivia Wilson (Michael); step-children, Todd Kochert, Karin Kochert, & Kristi Morgan (Erik); mother, Virginia Cunningham; grandchildren, Madalyn, Charlie, Dalton, Laci, & Parker. Visitation will be 12 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany, IN) with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Lanesville, Indiana.
