He was a Methodist. He was Sunday school superintendent at Central Church for 20 years. He assisted in establishing Wesley Methodist Church, Greenlee Methodist Church and Brown Chapel Methodist Church. Surviving: son, Harold of Duncanville, Texas; daughters, Mrs. Gene Hutchens of Eaton Rapids, Mrs. Catherine Feather of Coraopolis, Pa.; sister, Rosa of Charleston; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home, Charleston.Published: The Charleston Gazette, Thursday, July 13, 1989GREENLEE, Jacob Andrew -- Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Central United Methodist Church, with the Rev.
