Birth: 1923 Death: 2010 James Richard Schnetzer, 87, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in Lawrenceburg, IN. He was born Monday, February 5, 1923, in Lawrenceburg, IN. He was the son of the late William Schnetzer and Grace (Stegemiller) Schnetzer. He served his country in the Navy in the Pacific during World War II. He was a member of American Legion. He was retired from I&M. He is survived by sons, Steve (wife Reiko) Schnetzer, Eric James (wife Tina) Schnetzer, very special friend, Lois Phipps, sister-in-law, Elda Livingston, granddaughters, Lucia Schnetzer and Anna Schnetzer; 4 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Grace Schnetzer. Friends will be received Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Inc., Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Friday, April 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Father Peter Gallagher officiating. Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana. Contributions may be made to the St. Lawrence Church.
