Birth: Dec. 6, 1898 Irondale Jefferson County Ohio, USA Death: Mar. 14, 1964 Salem Columbiana County Ohio, USA March 20, 1964 Mrs. Bertha Ewing Burkhart Mrs. Bertha Burkhart, 65, Warren-Salem Road, died Saturday evening in Salem City hospital. Born in Irondale, Ohio, Dec. 6, 1898, she was the daughter of Harry and Lula Romick Ewing, and had resided in the area for 34 years. Her husband, Frank, died in 1950. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Winfred Rose of East Liverpool, and a brother, Floyd Ewing, of Warren-Salem Road. Funeral services, with the Rev. Fred Cochran, pastor of the Ellsworth United Presbyterian church, in charge were held Tuesday afternoon at the Williams Funeral Home in Canfield, and interment made in the North Jackson cemetery.
