Weber, 84, of Sterling House, Newark, Ohio, formerly of Woodsfield, Ohio died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at Newark. He was born May 13, 1918, in Monroe County, Ohio, a son of the late Solomon Weber and Ora Crum Weber. He was a retired employee of the Bell Telephone Company, retiring as district plant supervisor. He was a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ and also the Masonic Lodge of Woodsfield. Preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Beaver Weber, Oct. 1, 1998, also one sister, Grace Devoe and one brother, Frank Weber. Surviving are one daughter, Beverly Watson and her husband Ross, Pataskala, Ohio; four brothers, Ralph Weber, Sterling, Ohio; Merle Weber, Phoenix, Arizona; Edsel Weber, Lakeland, Florida and Roger Weber, Wadsworth, Ohio; three grandchildren: Gregory Watson and his wife Donna, Todd Watson and his wife Diane, and Heath Watson; four great grandchildren: Sandra, Brittney, Courtney and Brenton. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 12 noon until time of service at 1 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2003, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, Ohio, with Minister Loran Dace and Keith Jones, officiating. Interment in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
