Marion M. Bintz (Seeds), 89, of Mays Landing departed this life and went home to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, Nov. 18, 2012.
Marion was born and raised in Vineland and remained a lifelong South Jersey resident. Marion and her late husband Glenn enjoyed many retirement years wintering in Florida. She was the daughter of the late Edna May (Osborn) and Harry E. Seeds. Marion and Glenn had celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in June, prior to his passing on Aug. 14, 2012. Marion also was predeceased by her brother, Harry Seeds.
Marion was the valedictorian of Vineland High School, Class of 1941. Marion worked as a bookkeeper, along with her husband, at the Glendale Press in Vineland, which they operated for many years. She was a member of the Emmanuel Congregation Church, Egg Harbor, where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. Marion loved being a homemaker and raising her family. She enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing, working in her yard, visiting the Ocean & boardwalk, Smithville, but most of all she enjoyed the time spent with her family especially her grandsons.
She is survived by three children, Kathleen Bintz Brodzik, Stephen A. (Brenda) Bintz and Karen Bintz (Donald) Damiano; two grandchildren; Michael and Steven; brother-in-law, Dale and wife Naomi; and sister in-law, Dorothy Malverne.
Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, where her funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor.
