"Boney" Bohnsack, 76, formerly of Galena, will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Born March 29, 1927, in Scales Mound, Ill., he died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. Interment will be private. Mr. Bohnsack grew up in Galena and moved to Naperville in 1954. He was a member of Teamsters Local #705 for many years and an active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1290, Naperville. He enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Wheatland Plow Association. LeRoy is survived by his wife, Mary Bohnsack (nee Klimczak) of Naperville; sons, Daniel (Kathy) Gonzales of Naperville, Donald (Rhonda) Gonzales of Naperville and Jeffery (Jackie) Bohnsack of Naperville; granddaughters, Dana Gonzales of Pembroke Pines, Fla., and Amy (James) Schiefelbein of Marseilles; great-grandchildren, Kendra Kohler, Kelly, Matt and Anna Schiefelbein; siblings, Darlene Wearmouth of Belvidere, Helen Wearmouth of Galena, Loretta (Vince) Lange of Belvidere, Donald (Dorothy) Bohnsack of Galena, DeLose (Dorothy) Bohnsack of Dubuque, Iowa, Jane Bohnsack of Rockford and Vi (Hervey) Moletor of Rockford; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Kate Bohnsack, and a brother, Delbert Bohnsack. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. Bohnsack's name may be made to Naperville Moose Lodge #1290.
