A son of Thomas and Elsie Disque Kemmer, he was born October 7, 1927, in Putneyville. He was a truck driver and a member of St. Nicholas Church in Crates. Surviving are his parents and the following brothers and sisters, Hazel and Louise Kemmer of Summerville,; Mrs. Helen Smith of Strattanville RD 1,; Mrs. Dorothy Edmiston of Tiona,; Mrs. Margaret Lynch of Warren,; Mrs. Edna Baxter of Pittsburgh,; Lawrence and Forest Kemmer of Summerville. The body was taken to the Jenkins Funeral Home, Clarion, and returned to the family home in Kingsville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, in St. Nicholas Church in Crates with Father Charles Hackerl, officiating. Burial will take place in Crates Cemetery.
