1. Thomas Frank Hartmann, born 5 Feb. 1854, Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co.,
PA, died 16 Dec. 1933 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., PA. Thomas married
in 1880 to Caroline Moke, born 14 Jan. 1857 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny
County, PA, died 4 June 1885, Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., PA. Her father
was Theodore Moke, Sr., mother was Lydia ?
Thomas & Caroline had two children:
1. Caroline H. Hartmann, born 24 March 1882 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co.,
PA, died 31 Jan. 1963 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., PA. Caroline married
about 1903 to Herbert King Flath, who was born 1878 in Pa, and died Aug.
1945.
2. Mary Elizabeth Hartmann, born 6 May 1885 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co.,
PA, died 23 Jan. 1969 in New York, New York, she married after April 1910
to Howard A. Grant who was born about 1882 in PA

Co., PA Her father was John Dietsch
3. Rosa Louise Hartmann, born 13 Jan. 1869, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County,
PA, died 25 July 1881 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA
4. Mary Margaret Hartmann, born 26 Oct. 1871 PA, died 26 July 1881
5. George Jacob Hartmann, born 13 Dec. 1872 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny
County, PA, died 9 Jan. 1928 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA. George
Jacob was married on 8 June 1899 at Marion Center, Indiana County, PA to
Cora Long, who was born 1 Oct. 1874 in Rayne Twp., Indiana County, PA,
died 10 May 1956 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA. Cora's father was
William C. Long, and her mother was Almira Mariam Houck. NOTE URSULA:
This is my line, and I will be adding at another time to your Houck line
to fit Almira in.
6. Emma Caroline Hartmann, born 28 May 1877 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny
County, PA, died 6 April 1878 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA
7. Anna Jacobena Hartmann, born 16 July 1879 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny
County, PA, died 3 May 1881 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA

was the cause.
