She was born Oct. 31, 1927 in Utica to Leo Fitzgerald and Ethel Hunter Fitzgerald. She married Gilbert (Dick) Bulfer on March 2, 1946 in Mendota. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Survivors include her husband, Gilbert (Dick) of Sublette; three sons, Paul of Mendota, Stephen of West Brooklyn, and Jay of Sublette; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one brother, Ken Fitzgerald of Utica and one sister Marjorie Arthurs of Lombard. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin infant sons, one grandchild, Terry, one sister, Leona, and one brother, Donald. Services were held on June 7 in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Sublette. The Rev. Edward Hughes officiated. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Sublette. Arrangements were made by Merritt Funeral Home.
