TORNELLO, Richard Keith (49) Rick passed away at Cottage Hospital on Aug. 28, 2004, after a brief illness. He was born on Oct. 16, 1954 in Tarrytown, New York, and moved to California with his family at the age of 6. He attended school in the San Fernando Valley. He became an auto mechanic after graduation and eventually opened his own business known as "Quickstop" Repair Service in Carpinteria. He was married in 1983 to Linda del Castillo, and he and his wife have one son, Anthony, age 12. He is also survived by his parents, Dan and Rita Tornello of Van Nuys, Calif., and siblings Danielle, Bryan and Daniel. Memorial services will be held at Carpinteria Community Church on Saturday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to a special account at Montecito Bank and Trust, Carpinteria Branch, FBO Anthony Tornello.
