Elizabeth Seitz Ackerman Birth: Aug. 18, 1883, Russian Federation Death: Aug. 21, 1957 Spokane Spokane County Washington, USA Elisabeth/Elizabeth was born in Russia to Jacob and ???Seitz. She married Felip/Phillip Ackerman 1897 in Russia. They immigrated through Canada to North Dakota in 1903. They had 6 children in North Dakota. ( I am not sure all the dates for Elizabeth and Philip add up, but they could neither read or write English.) After his death in 1937 she moved to Spokane to be with daughter, Magdalena/Margaret. There are records, depending on which one you are reading, that show the last name spelled either ACKERMANN or ACKERMAN. This does cause some confusion as her husband, Philip's death certificate shows ACKERMANN. He died in North Dakota. My records all indicate she was born in 1883, but her daughter gave the information as 1882.
