Gill, Olivia K.
Olivia K. Gill, 83, of Louisville, died Friday, May 14, 2004, at her home. She was the former Olivia Kustes, born in Louisville on December 2, 1920, to Ida Ress and William Kustes. She was previously a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 1980. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William J. Gill, and her sister, Mary Frances Kaelin. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret A. Bramer (Robert) of Louisville; sons, James E. Gill (Mary Jane) of Pewaukee, WI, and Richard W. Gill (Susie) of Columbus, OH; sister, Jean Bearden; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Johnston and Catherine Dolan; eight grandchildren, Mark Smith (Terri), Donna M. Smith, Juliana Smith (Patrick), Michael Smith (Debbie), Dr. William Gill (Angela), Bradley Gill (Jennifer), Jennifer Brunnbauer (Ken) and Melissa Blankenship (John); and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2004, at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2825 Klondike Ln., with burial in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. both Tuesday and Wednesday at Ratterman & Sons, 3800 Bardstown Rd. Memorials may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor.
