Mary E. McNamara KANSASVILLE - Mary E. (nee: Frey) McNamara, 88, passed away at Burlington Aurora Hospital on Saturday, March 14, 2009. Mary was born on September 2, 1920, to George and Catherine (nee: Jung) Frey Sr. She married Francis S. McNamara on March 4, 1946. Mary was a longtime member of St. Mary's Dover and belonged to the St. Mary's Women's Club. She also loved to travel, quilt, knit, and work in her flowerbeds. Mary was a Hairdresser for many years in Burlington and owned her own shop in Kansasville before retiring. She will be dearly missed by her children, Michelle (Darrell) Schultz and Jeff (Mary) McNamara; daughter- in-law, Connie (Chuck) McNamara-Sanders; sisters, Joan May, Aileen Remer, Phyllis (Claude) Robers, and Kathleen (Bernie) Thom; brother, George (Joyce) Frey Jr.; sister-in-law, Dorie Frey; grandchildren, Lisa (David) Welks, Kim (Erich) Laabs, and Kirk McNamara; great- grandchildren, Gunnar, Peyton, Shea Wells, and Drake Laabs; as well as nieces, nephews, and many, many friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; children, Michael, Melinda, and Ellen; grandson, Eric Schultz; sister, Delores Borgo; brother, Paul Frey; and brothers-in- law, George Borgo, Kenneth Remer, and Edward May. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 20, 2009, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's of Dover, 23211 Church Road, Kansasville, with Rev. Howard Haase officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery following Mass.
