She was the fourth child and second daughter of their seven children. Louise was raised in the 9th and 10 Wards of the city and lived at various addresses on Lake Avenue and Glendale Park. On 19 November 1896 she married Theodore Henry Ferner. They raised two sons, John Theodore and Charles Bertram. Louise died on 10 March 1948 at the age of 72 years, 12 days. Cause of death was given as pulmonary edema. She was buried on 13 March 1948 next to her husband Theodore in Mount Hope Cemetery, Range 7, SW ¼ of Plot 62.
