Anna Maria "Mary" Wirges Ferner Birth: Sep. 25, 1846, Germany Death: Feb. 26, 1932 Saint Louis St. Louis City Missouri, USA Anna Maria "Mary" Wirges was born on September 25, 1846, in Koblenz, Moselweiss, Rheinland, Preussen, the daughter of Sebastian Wirges and Gertrude Huerter. She was christened on the 26 September 1846 in the Catholic Church. She became the second wife of Charles L. Ferner in Rochester, New York on 6 November 1873, following the death of his first wife, Antonette. She and Charles had five children together; one baby boy died shortly after birth, another son, George died at age 4, the other three children, all lived and settled in Saint Louis. Mary died on 26 February 1932 at the age of 85 years, 5 months. She was buried on 29 February 1932 in Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum. Family links: Spouse: Charles L.
