Theodore Ferner Birth: Nov. 11, 1863 Rochester Monroe County New York, USA Death: Sep. 27, 1912 Rochester Monroe County New York, USA Theodore Ferner was born in Rochester, New York, on 11 November 1853, the son of Carolus "Charles" Ferner and Sophia Ritter Ferner. He was the seventh and last child and fourth son of this couple. His father, Charles, died in 1854, the year following Theodore's birth. Theodore never married. He worked first as a woodcutter's apprentice, then as a woodcutter. Theodore died on 27 September 1912 in Rochester, at the age of 59 years, 10 months and 16 days. The cause of his death was cancer. He was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery on 29 September 1912.
