Schumcher had been in failing health the past eight years.She was born July 5, 1902, in Connersville, the daughter of Nicholas and Catherine Kuntz Wissel. She had been a resident of Decatur County 40 years. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in North Vernon.On Sept. 2, 1925, she married August J. Schumacher in Morris, and he survives; with one daughter, Mrs. Vincent (Annabelle) Starke, R.R.1, Westport; three sons, Paul E. Schumacher, R.R.1, Westport, Gerald E. Schumacher, R.R.1, Elizabethtown, and Robert L. Schumacher, Orlando, Fla.; a half sister, Alma Doll, Batesville; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Harvey Wissel.Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in North Vernon, with the Rev.
