DeLane 'Pete' Fletcher
PADUCAH, Ky. - DeLane "Pete" Fletcher, 69, of Paducah, Ky., died March 6, 2009, at Legacy Care Center in Kentucky.
Mr. Fletcher worked for Banker's Life and Casualty as an insurance salesman, was a commercial fisherman, a U.S. Navy and Air National Guard veteran and of the Christian faith.
Surviving are: his mother, Elsie Maxine Lane Cecil of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; three daughters, Julie L. Worthen, of Metropolis, Ill., Kimberly R. Andrews and Brenda S. Walker, both of Paducah, Ky.; one sister, Sherry Fletcher, of Truth or Consequences; one half-sister, Vicki Cecil; one half-brother, Johnny Fletcher; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Fletcher, and a granddaughter, Hailey Nicole Stewart.
A private memorial service will held later. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Alzheimer's Association, Greater Kentucky Chapter, 3703 Taylorsville Road, Suite 102, Louisville, KY 40220-1330.
