John was much like his sister--stern, erect and serious, but not as much so as his sister. John married Cletus Josephine Lecher, daughter of Michael Lecher and Anna Grostphen, on February 5, 1931 in St. Joseph Catholic Church at Pesotum, Illinois. OCCUPATION: John was a farmer in the West Ridge community of Douglas County, Illinois for many years then moved to Tuscola following their retirement. After retirement they lived at 509 Cherry Street in Tuscola. They had four children, all daughters. They were Joyce Ann,Nancy Louise, Phyllis Jane and Lucinda Kathryn. They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 1981 at Forty Martyr's Catholic Church Hall DEATH CERTIFICATE:--Champaign County, Illinois. John died of a cardiac arrest due to severe anemia, thrombocypenia, AtherwcleroticDisease, and Lung Mass. John died at Burnham Hospital in Champaign,Illinois. He was buried at Tuscola, Illinois in Tuscola Cemetery.
