Charles Stanley Hesler, Sr Birth: Mar. 14, 1901 Death: Jan. 16, 1995 Charles Stanley Hesler, 93, a native of Mason County and a former resident of Newport, died at the Salem Park Nursing Home in Cincinnati Monday morning. Mr. Hesler was a retired farmer. He was born on March 14, 1901 to the late John and Nancy Watson Hesler. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Humphrey Hesler who died in 1938. Surviving are his second wife, Mrs. Myrtle McCleese Hesler; four sons, Stanley Hesler of Mason County, Elmer Hesler of Maysville, Gene Hesler of Maysville, and Gordon Parker of Jonesboro, Georgia; two daughters, Mary Hesler of Highland Heights, and Mrs. Virginia Asken of Cincinnati; 17 grandchildren; three brothers, Eugene Hesler of Dayton, Ohio, and Jessie Hesler of Manchester; one sister, Mrs. Hallie Swearingen of Dayton, Ohio. He was preced in death by a daughter, Christine Roush. Burial will be in Washington Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers are Rick Hesler, Brian Hesler, Richard Askren, Terry Hesler, Michael Stitt and Mike Hesler.
