Heintz HEINTZ, John Willard, 87, of Wheeling, W.Va., died Sunday, October 30, 2005 in Bishop Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling. Born in Wheeling on March 23, 1918, John was the son of the late Phillip and Ella Caulfield Heintz. He was a member of St. Micheal Catholic Church, Wheeling; and served as a CPA and Assistant Secretary Treasurer for the former Wheeling Machine Products for 42 years. John was a Army veteran of WWII; a member of the YMCA, Howard Long Wellness Center, VFW, American Legion Post 1, Elks Club of Wheeling and the WV Society of CPAs.. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Werner Heintz in 1994; his sister-in- law, June Werner Smith in 1998; and two brothers, Henry Heintz and William Delbrugge. Surviving are two nieces, Susan Werner Smith of Wheeling and Rita Delbrugge Smith of Akron Ohio. There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio County Animal Shelter, RD No. 2 Box 370BB, Triadelphia WV 26059.
