She retired from Mead Johnson as an inspector after 46 years. In her younger days she was an avid bowler and loved to watch baseball. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Stein; parents, John and Emma Huffine; brother, Jack Huffine; and sisters, Dorothy Straker and Marie Sugg. Louise is survived by her sisters, Pauline Huffine and Olivet Lear, both of Evansville; brothers, Norman Huffine of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Leroy Huffine of Evansville; nieces and nephews, Donna and Alvin Rexing (caregivers) of Haubstadt, Ind., Scott Huffine (godchild) of Fort Wayne, Kristy Huffine of Fort Wayne, Frank Paul Lear of Fort Branch, Ind., Barbara Chandler of Poole, Ky., Terri Haggard of Evansville, Dan L. Huffine of Murray, Ky., John Huffine and Kimberly Ibarra, both of Texas; several great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews. Services 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2005, at Alexander West Chapel, burial at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Evansville.
