  [S927] Obituary. Born in Montpelier, Ohio, on April 23, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Virginia Davis Echler. She graduated from Delphi High School and attended Ivy Tech. On July 25, 1959, she married Stanley E. Memmer in Delphi, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 2006. Mrs. Memmer had worked as a secretary in various offices. She was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed walking, reading, sewing and crocheting. Surviving is a son, Steven E. Memmer of Lafayette; two daughters, Diane Culver (husband: Douglas) of Brookston and Vicki Memmer of Hillsboro; and two sisters, Nancy Musal of Monticello and Elsie Jenkins of Tucson. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A brother, Dean Echler preceded her in death in 1977. Visitation one hour prior to the 1 p.m. service on Thursday at Hippensteel Funeral Home, the Rev. Dr. Clayton Kendall officiating. Interment to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
