 Edward G. Weaver, 80, a retired carpenter, died at 8 a.m. Thursday at his home in Louisville. A native of St. Meinrad, he moved to Louisville 57 years ago and for 30 years before his retirement in 1941, he worked for various contractors. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Viona R. Weaver, three daughters, Mrs. Edward Gettelfinger, Palmyra; Mrs. Herman G. Gettelfinger, Bradford and Mrs. Jacob J. Daus; a brother, Pete Weaver, Terre Haute; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Henrich, Murphysboro, Ill.; Mrs. J. J. Bates, Indianapolis; Mrs. J. J. Christofferson, British Columbia, Canada; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held last Saturday morning at nine o'clock at Holy Spirit Church in Louisville. Burial was in St. Michael Cemetery, Bradford.

A native of St. Meinrad, Ind., he came here 57 years ago and for 30 years before his retirement in 1941 had worked for various contractors. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Viona R. Weaver; three daughters, Mrs. Edward Gettelfinger, Palmyra, Ind.; Mrs. Herman G. Gettelfinger, Bradford, Ind., and Mrs. Jacob J. Daus, a brother, Pete Weaver, Terre Haute, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Henrich, Murphysboro, Ill.; Mrs. J. J. Bates, Indianapolis; Mrs. J. J. Christofferson, British Columbia, Canada; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 8:45 a.m. tomorrow at Ratterman's chapel, 3711 Lexington Road, and 9 a.m. at Holy Spirit Church. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Bradford, Ind.
