Kempf age 85 passed away at 9:15 P.M. Sunday October 31, 2010 at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper. She was born April 16, 1925 in Celestine to:Joseph and Clara Mae (Schnellenberger) Hoffman. She married Linus Kempf June 25, 1949. He passed away April 11, 2009. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Schnellville Home Economics, and St. Ann?s Society. She loved to travel and loved music of all kinds. Surviving: 3 daughters-Gail Kempf and Mrs. Kevin (Kathy) Fromme both of Jasper, and Patty Kempf of Casper WY. 4 sons- Glenn of Ferdinand, Stanley and Alan Kempf both of Jasper, and Paul Kempf of Yorba Linda CA. 1 brother-James Hoffman of Alabama Beatrice Theising of Carmel IN. 7 Grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren 1 great granddaughter Preceded in death besides her husband, 3 sisters-Rita Heeke, Marie Heeke, and Ardella Osborn. Visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday November 4, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
