She was born July 3, 1928 in Wood County, WV a daughter of the late Richard R. and Vera Ruth Morris Robinson. She was a homemaker and member of Big Tygart Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by four sons Wayne Houck of Rockport, Robert Houck of Rockport, Rick Houck of Clarksburg, Michael Houck of Rockport; two daughters Peggy Collins of Davisville, Anna Gates of Elizabeth; one ½ brother Jerry Robinson of Parkersburg; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John E. Houck, Jr. and sister Evelyn Welling. Services will be Tuesday 1:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Rufus E. Hoalcraft officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
