  [S927] Obituary. Roberta B. Peterson, 60, 1503 Second Ave. N.W., Mandan, died May 2, 1997, at her home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Church of St. Joseph, Mandan, with the Rev. Robert E. Feeney officiating. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday, followed by a parish vigil at 7:30. Visitation will continue Monday at the funeral home. Roberta was born June 2, 1936, in Mandan, the daughter of Michal J. and Magdalena (Helbling) Lanz. She was raised and educated in Mandan. Roberta was a member of the Cash Count Team for Cystic Fibrosis for five years. She is survived by four sons and one daughter-in-law, David Wahl and Kyle Peterson, both of Mandan, Sean Wahl, Springfield, Mo., and Steve and Bea Wahl, Robstowne, Texas; four daughters and one son-in-law, Connie and Dan Kraft, Carrie Trehus, Laura Wahl, all of Mandan, and Shelley Wahl, St. Peter, Minn.; five grandchildren; one brother, Leo Lanz, Mandan; two sisters, Josephine Meyer, Corona, Calif., and Pauline Rothschillar, Huntington Beach, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
