Surviving are his wife, Marion; daughter Kathy; son Samuel Jr.; one grandson; two sisters Grace Ward of Lancaster and Eileen Large, Columbus; two brothers, Robert Poulton of Temperanceville and Anthony Poulton of Seneca Lake; several nieces and nephews. Military rites were held at St. Peters Church in Cleveland.
