Ebey Russell L. Ebey, age 83, of Canton, passed away Monday, August 22, 2005 at Aultman Hospital. He was born in Canton, OH June 30, 1922 to the late John and Estella Ebey. Russell was a retired truck driver and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of the QB?s and the Trinity Masonic Lodge of Canton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice in 2002. He is survived by a sister, Evelyn Burkhardt of Easly, SC; two brothers, Glenn and Frank Ebey, both of Canton; a loving niece and caregiver, Paula and her husband, Marc Moore and family of Canton; several other nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Stier-Israel Funeral Home of Louisville with Mr. Jeff Stevenson officiating. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where Masonic services will be held at 5:45 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memory Garden.
