  [S927] Obituary. Schneider, Thelma V. Schneider, nee Schneider Source: The Bloomer Advance Thelma V. Schneider, age 89, of Merrill, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill. Thelma was born March 21, 1920, in Ohio, daughter of the late Clarence and Katherine (Smith) Schneider. She married Quintin A. Schneider on August 23, 1941, at St. Stephen?s United Church of Christ, Merrill. He preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 1994. Thelma was a longtime member of St. Stephen?s United Church of Christ, Merrill. She was a homemaker and dairy farmer in the Town of Pine River. Thelma also enjoyed tree farming and traveling to Florida. For fifteen years, Thelma was a resident at Maplewood Nursing Home in Bloomer, during her son?s ministry in the area. Thelma is survived by one son, The Rev. Philip (Catherine) Schneider, of Wausau; two grandsons: Jeremy (Crystal Sanders) Schneider of Merrill, and Nicholas (Shannon Kuehmichel) Schneider of Oshkosh; three step-grandchildren: Nicholas (Jocelyn) Koehler of Bloomer, Christina (Ben) Secraw of New Auburn, and Tyler Koehler of Bloomer; four step-great-grandchildren: Brandon, Justin, Andrew and Tyson; and one brother, Cedric (Ruth) Schneider of Merrill. Thelma was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Culver and Perthena Culver; and one brother, George Schneider. The funeral service was at 11 a.m., Monday, March 8, 2010, at St. Stephen?s United Church of Christ, Merrill. The Rev. Scott Hawker officiated. Burial took place at Merrill Memorial Park.
