Emma Margaret Kuhn Dimmerling, 96, Caldwell, passed away Sept. 10, 2011 at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. She was born May 25, 1915, in Burkhart, a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary Biedenbach Kuhn. 
 
She was a homemaker, and along with her husband, owned and operated a family farm. She was a long time member of the Carlisle community, and she was an organist for St. Michael?s Catholic Church and its Catholic Women?s Club. Upon moving to Caldwell in her later years, she attended St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell and its CWC. 
 
Surviving are five daughters, Melba (Oliver) Hupp, Jean (Larry) Lowe, both of Caldwell, Jane (Virgil) Thompson of Summerfield, Alice (Richard) Piatt of Graysville, Marilyn (Tom) Poland of Pleasant City; four sons, Paul (Maureen) Dim-merling of Caldwell, Marvin (Darlene) Dimmerling, Bill Dimmerling, both of Carlisle; Gary (Susie) Dimmerling of Granville; a son-in-law, Bob Warner of Carlisle; a sister, Matilda Burkhart of New York; a brother, Mark (Evelyn) Kuhn of Hilliard; and a large extended family. 
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis (Jimmy) Dimmerling; a daughter, Ruth Warner; two sisters, Dorothy Norris, Nellie Burkhart; and two brothers, Herman and Leroy Kuhn. 
 
Friends were received Sept. 12 at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where a vigil service followed. Funeral Liturgy with Mass was observed Sept. 13 at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell, with Rev. Fr. Wayne Morris as celebrant. Burial followed at St. Michael?s Cemetery in Carlisle.
