Obituary, The Barnesville Enterprise, March 6, 1952, P. 6, Column 1: T.H. Murphy, 51, Dies Suddenly at Hospital - Tracy H. Murphy, known to his wide circle of friends as ?Shine?, died suddenly at the Barnesville Hospital at 1:15 Wednesday morning. He had been in poor health for a number of years, since being hurt in an accident, and had been in hospital for a few days. But his death was due to a sudden heart attack which was very unexpected. Mr. Murphy was the son of Lorenzo and Lenora Kiger Murphy, and was born May 30, 1900 in Barnesville. Mr. Murphy was employed all his adult life by the Ohio Power Company, and even after he was disabled for active work he continued to do light work for them. Bereaved by his death are his wife, Lillian Hunkler Murphy of the home on East Main Street, one son, Jerry Murphy of Dayton, one grandson, Patrick Michael Murphy, two brothers, Derwood Murphy of Hendrysburg and Wilmot Murphy, a teacher in the St. Clairsville schools, and one sister, Mrs. Olive Brownfield of Columbus. The remains are at the Campbell Funeral Home where services will be held at 3 o?clock Friday afternoon. They will be conducted by the Rev. Fr. Rudolph Wargo of the Church of the Assumption, and burial will be made in the Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Murphy was a member of the Elks Lodge and they held their services Thursday evening at 8.
