  [S927] Obituary. Irene C. Lindamood, 94, former resident of Lee Avenue and Hannah?s House, Marietta, passed away at 1:01 a.m. Monday (March 3, 2008) at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 30, 1913, in Marietta, a daughter of Gilbert Biehl and Blanche Becker Biehl. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1931. During World War II, Irene was employed at Remington Rand and for 30 years was employed by the late Dr. Donald S. Williams as an assistant. On July 20, 1933, she married Emerson Lindamood, who preceded her in death on July 20, 1969. Irene is survived by her daughter, Betty Jane (Harold) Woodgerd of Marietta; her grandson, Michael E. (Marci) Woodgerd of Alexandria, Va.; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Irene was predeceased by her brother, Beman Biehl; and her sisters, Edna Miller, Clara Burchett and Lucille McGee. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Bruce Tuxhorn officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 2 p.m. Thursday with family present from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. Memorial contributions in Irene?s memory may be made to a charity of the donor?s choice.
