- The following article appeared in The Zanesville (OH) Signal newspaper on September 13, 1937WOMAN SEEKS $3,000 DAMAGESInjured in Auto Wreck in July, 1936 CALDWELL-- Lucy J. Schockling, Fulda, has filed suit in the Noble county common pleas court through her attorney, Charles D. Fogle, asking that $3,000 be awarded her for injuries sustained in an automobile accident, July 28, 2936. The suit was entered against Herman Schott, also of the Fulda community, who the petition states, was driving in a careless and negligent manner. The plaintiff says that she suffered injuries which resulted in a very nervous condition. Her husband, William Schockling, who was driving the car, has entered suit against Schott, asking the court to award him $118.00 to compensate him for damages to the automobile and a medical bill of $18.00. Attorney Fogle of Marietta represents the plaintiff in both damage actions.
