HOLMES - Died at the home of his grandfather, Matthew Holmes, on the Beacon Road, Friday, Sept. 25, 1910, at 3:15 p.m. of diabetes of five weeks duration, Charles M. Holmes aged 16 years, 7 months and 27 days. Funeral service at St. James church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment in Forest cemetery. The deceased was born in Iowa, January 26, 1894, and has resided in Iowa during life. He leaves a father, Harry Holmes, one brother and one sister.
