  [S927] Obituary. LOWER SALEM ? Goldie E. Myers, 86, of Germantown Road, Lower Salem, died at 11:15 a.m. Sunday (July 9, 2006) in the Arbors at Marietta. She was born June 19, 1920, in Germantown, a daughter of Manurel and Icie Miller Hendershot. She was a homemaker. On March 12, 1938, she was married to Ralph E. Myers who preceded her in death on April 13, 1996. She is survived by one son, Donald (Renee) Myers of Wooster, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She is also survived by two sisters, Marjorie Reed and Fay Wittekind, both of Marietta; several nephews and nieces and special friends, Joyce and Mark Rea, Janett, Todd, and Terry Hill, Angie Kahrig and Kenny, Tammy, and Bridgett Shafer; also Jackie Hockenberry and special friends from Michael Harding Country Jamboree and Chuck Craig. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by their son, Gary Myers; one sister, Jessie Kehl; one brother, Brady Hendershot; and her daughter-in-law, Shirley Myers. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Gale Lauderman officiating. Burial will be in Paw Paw Cemetery.
