  [S927] Obituary. Rae Partlow Vera Rae Partlow (nee McAllister), 94, of Masonic Park Road, died at 6:35 a.m. Monday (March 28, 2005) in Heartland of Marietta. She was born Nov. 1, 1910, a daughter of the late Ray McAllister and Mary Strachan McAllister. The family later made their home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where she was a graduate of St. Clairsville High School. She attended Marietta College. She had been assistant branch director for the American Lung Association of Ohio for many years until her retirement in 1975. She had been a member of the Putnam Congregational Church since 1953 and was actively engaged in programs of the church. She was a member of the church choir, often furnished altar flowers for the sanctuary, and was never too busy to take time to send a sympathy card or a get-well card to members. She was also an active member of the Betsey Mills Club, worked as a volunteer at the public library, was an active member of The Republican Women's Club, and enjoyed working in her garden and watching the birds there. She was married to Max O. Partlow, who preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1961. She is survived by her cousins, Edward Strachan of Milton, Fla., Edwin Pfaff, and Theresa Tulumaris and her nephew and niece by marriage, John M.O. Partlow and his wife, Elizabeth of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Susan Partlow Michlow and her husband, Ronald, of Freeport, N.Y.; and a great-nephew and great-niece, Benjamin Partlow and Karen Partlow McCann. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Putnam Congregational Church, 707 Masonic Park Road, with Pastor Daniel Jackson and Pastor Barbara Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Putnam Cemetery. Friends may call from noon Friday until Saturday morning at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the church. The family will be present to meet friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
