Birth: Feb. 29, 1892 Death: Jun. 6, 1947 Huron Beadle County South Dakota, USA Andrew Jacob Aisenbrey of Alpena, 55 year old treasurer of Jerauld County and county official since 1939 died at a Huron hospital,June 6, 1947, following several months illness. Funeral services were held at the high school auditorium in Alpena. The Rev. Reinhold Opp, pastor of the Congregational Church was in charge of the service. Burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery, Alpena. Andrew Jacob Aisenbrey was born near Menno, S.D.. In 1910 he returned to Menno,where he worked at the Orth Merchandise Store until 1913, when he again returned to Alpena and began working in the Bank of Alpena as assistant cashier. He worked for 26 years. In 1939 he was elected to serve as Jerauld County Treasurer and was re-elected to this office for two terms. He was then elected county auditor for two terms, and last fall was again chosen treasurer, which position he held at the time of his death. He was married to Lydia Fredericka Feiok of Alpena, June 16, 1915; to this union five children were born. Mr. Aisenbrey has served the county and city in an effective and honest manner. He was a member of the Alpena Congregation Church, president of the Alpena board of education, and member of the Wessington Springs Kiwanis Club. Surviving are his wife, two daughter, three sons, four grandchildren, and three sister; two brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Aisenbrey, Sr.; one sister, and four brothers. One brother Carl aisenbrey, Jerauld County official, died in May, 1946.
