Clarence Dietsch,
Port St. Lucie
Clarence Dietsch, 83, died Jan. 23, 2004, at St. Mary's Hospital, West Palm Beach.
He was born in Newark, N.J., and was a resident of Port St. Lucie, coming from Toms River, N.J.
Prior to retirement, he was employed by the Monmouth County Workshop, Red Bank.
Mr. Dietsch was a U.S. Army Air Forces veteran, serving during World War II.
He was a member of American Legion Post 306.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Virginia George Dietsch; sons Carl of Parlin, N.J., and John of Orlando; brother Howard Dietsch of Barnegat, N.J.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Dietsch.
SERVICES: A service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals," South Amboy, N.J.

A service for Clarence Bus Dietsch, 83, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., a former New Jersey resident, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, 237 Bordentown Ave., South Amboy.
Mr. Dietsch, who died Friday in St. Marys Hospital, West Palm Beach, Fla., worked for the Monmouth County Workshop, Red Bank, training handicapped people for employment. Previously, he had been a production supervisor at the Lionel Corp., Irvington, for 20 years.
An Army Air Force veteran, he served during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 306, Middlesex.
Born in Newark, he lived in Sayreville and Toms River before moving to Florida 20 years ago.
Surviving are Virginia, his wife of 58 years; sons, Carl and John; a brother, Howard, and two grandchildren.
