Born Dec. 15, 1917, in Centralia, she married Denzil Austin DeFreece on Feb. 13, 1937, in Centralia and lived in the South County area since 1955. Mrs. DeFreece worked at the Bon Marche for 20 years. She enjoyed working, crossword puzzles and bowling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denzil Austin DeFreece. She is survived by her daughter, Deanna Ward of Covington; sister, Myrtle Ingraham of Paradise, Calif.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Faull-Stokes Mortuary in Renton. Inurnment will be at a later date at Tahoma National Cemetery in Maple Valley.
