She was born October 27, 1919 in Kewanee the daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth (Thurwanger) Predat. She was reared and educated in Kewanee. Helen married Forrest ?Frosty? Weyland, June 28, 1939 in South Dakota. He preceded her in death as well as two sons Bruce and Bill. She is survived by one son Wayne (Pat) Weyland of Andover, Il, one daughter Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Robson of Kewanee, one sister Dorothy Predat of Kewanee, 5 grandchildren Kristen (Ray) Moreland, Shea (Jeff) Vinavich, Ryan Robson, Shannon (Chris) Weyland, Shane (Janine) Weyland, 11 great grandchildren Gage and Lani Moreland, Jacob, Cody, Conner, Austin, Gabriel, Cole and Owen Weyland, Alec and Kaiden Vinavich. Helen had been a home maker and enjoyed quilting, sewing, playing cards with her friends and spending time with her sister and grandchildren. Helen had been a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church of Kewanee and the Kewanee Senior Citizen Center. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2008 at Schueneman & Tumbleson funeral home. Deacon Martin VanMeltebeck of St. Mary?s Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation with be one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Kewanee Senior Citizens Center.
