Wayne R. Dearth, 74
CAMBRIDGE - Wayne R. Dearth, 74, of Cambridge, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge.
He was born Monday, Sept. 28, 1931, in Lower Salem, the son of the late Winford G. and Ada McCune Dearth. Mr. Dearth retired from Professional Plumbing after 40 years of service and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and enjoyed woodworking, hunting, his church family and was a wonderful family man.

Surviving are his wife, Evelyn M. Bailey Dearth, whom he married Oct. 10, 1959; two sons, Dave (Tammy) Dearth of Cambridge and Tim (Sherry) Dearth of Norwich; a daughter, Debbie (David) Bywater of Fennville, Mich.; a brother, Glen (Marie) Dearth of Glenburnie, Md.; a sister, Vera Fry of Kingman, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Brad and Jessi Dearth of Norwich, Kara and Amanda Dearth of Cambridge and Erin and Austin Bywater of Fennville, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Crystal Hoge; and an infant brother.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today, May 25, at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville.
Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2006, at Calvary Baptist Church, Byesville, with Pastors Dennis Rost and Kenneth Pugh officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery with Guernsey Veterans Council conducting veteran services.
