NEW ALBANY TRIBUNE OBITUARY ? 06/30/1969 - NEW SALISBURY 
Mrs. Mary Louise Ems, 87, died at 5:40 p.m. Saturday at Clark County Hospital, Jeffersonville. She lived in New Salisbury. The funeral will be at 12 noon Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bradford. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the Love Funeral Home, Palmyra. The rosary will be said at 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. 
 
CORYDON DEMOCRAT OBITUARY ? 07/02/1969 
Mrs. Mary Louise Ems, 87, formerly of New Salisbury, died at 5:40 p.m. Saturday at Clark County Hospital, Jeffersonville. She had been living in Hillcrest Nursing Home, Jeffersonville. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Bradford. Survivors include three sons, John W. Ems, Louisville, Owen Ems, New Salisbury and Carl F. Ems, Borden; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Fisher, Louisville and Mrs. Maurice Wisman, Pekin; a sister, Mrs. Leo Book, Floyds Knobs, 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He husband, Jacob Ems, preceded her in death. The body rested at Love Funeral Home, Palmyra. Funeral services were held at noon Tuesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Bradford. Her grandson, Rev. Donald Fisher of Louisville conducted the service. Burial was in the church cemetery.
