Mrs.. Maymie Zahm, almost 49, died at her home, 1018 Cherry Street, at 8:40 a.m.. Friday after an illness of four months.
Born June 5, 1891 at Lagro, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Laura McClanahan and was married October 1, 1928 to William Zahm, who with two children, John William and James Frederick, survive.
The couple was married in St. Patrick's Church at Lagro, the Rev. W. L. Atwater, officiating.
She also leaves three brothers and a sister. They are Louis McClanahan, Chicago, Lawrence McClanahan, Madison, Ind., Alfred McClanahan, Wabash, and Mrs. Fred Wiley, this city.
Mrs. Zahm was a member of the St. Mary's Church, of the Rosary Society, St. Ann's Study Club and a charter member of the Daughters of Isabella.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning at 9 o'clock (CDT) at St. Mary's Church, the Rev. T. E. Denton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Section F Lot 29W-02.
