Born Sept. 1, 1955 in Oregon City, he lived in Donald before moving to Hubbard in 1965, then to Tigard, Hermiston and Nebraska before moving back to Hubbard. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and family gatherings. He had worked as a welder, carpenter and concrete worker before retiring due to a disability. He is survived by his sisters, Ginny Kernal of Silverton and Kristi Howland of Salem; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 3 at the Church of Christ, Woodburn. Private interment will be at Belle Passi Cemetery, Woodburn.
